Neil Jackson

Neil Jackson, also known by his stage name of Neil Jacks, is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and fight choreographer represented by Inspired Actors. In Spring 2016, Neil was the writer and director of a production of The Jungle Book (Misnomer Theatre) which reached the semi-finals of the All England Theatre Festival 2016. During the course of the festival, Neil was awarded the Hastilow Cup (Best Original Script, Tamworth Hastilow Festival) and the prestigious Jackson Salver (Adjudicator’s Award, Semi-Finals / Central Area Final).

Outside of acting, Neil is a dedicated martial artist – with over a decade of training, coaching, and competitive fighting experience – and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIHCM). He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Housing (PgDipHS) from Birmingham City University, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing’s West Midlands Regional Board.

Neil spent eight years working within the housing sector, specifically in the field of asset management and maintenance, and his hybrid knowledge of housing policy, IT solutions, and housing asset management make him a highly sought after freelance consultant, trainer, and critical friend. As a housing blogger and commentator (outside of Our Castle’s Strength) Neil has also written guest articles for #ukhousingfast and 24Dash.com.
