Nuts & Bolts #2 – Punderful World

As someone who writes pantomimes and performs improvised comedy I am an unashamed fan of puns, and in the race to secure brand recognition it is not unusual to see businesses turn to witty wordplay as a means to stand out:

A hair salon called Curl Up and Dye.

A sandwich shop called Baguetti Junction.

A cleaning service called Spruce Springclean.

I am pleased to report that the housing sector is not without such wit. On a recent walk, I saw that scaffolding firm ABA Scaffolding had constructed (heh…) a clever creation of their own. The appellation in question?

Fine Erection

I’m sure ABA Scaffolding found it a very hard job to come up with such a gripping statement, beating rivals off despite the stiff competition – it would be a phallacy to suggest otherwise!
